Students sat on steps outside university getting ready to play Treasure Hunt Brighton

Just landed in Brighton for your first term? Or are you back after a summer away? Treasure Hunt Brighton is the perfect way to get acquainted with your new surroundings. Ideal for freshers, this adventure will take you to the coolest spots in Brighton, all in just one afternoon!

Welcome to Brighton1

You’ve finally made it to Brighton. Welcome! New term, new place, new… everything! But what to see first? Treasure Hunt Brighton is a great way to spend some time getting to know people in your new home. Whether you’re a fresher or a returning student, this adventure will give you a fresh perspective on your new home.

Been Here Before? Rediscover Brighton!

If your fresher days are behind you, don’t worry—this hunt is just as fun for returning students. Test your knowledge and challenge your mates as you uncover hidden gems around Brighton. Our carefully crafted route skirts past the tourist traps and leads you to some of the best-kept secrets in town.

How does it work? ☠️

It’s designed for adults, so you’ll have a laugh together. Crews can be any size, although it might be more fun to split into smaller groups and see who can be the first to solve the final clue!

You’ll need to channel your inner pirate as you follow maps, solve cryptic clues, and scour the city for answers. Captain Bess, your bossy pirate leader, will guide you via messages sent directly to your phones. It’s like an escape room, but spread across the entire city!

Where does your adventure begin?

Your adventure begins at the India Gate (outside the Pavilion Gardens).

You’ll easily find it on your maps app. And for an effortlessly planned day, you’ll find some more helpful info here.

And yes, there are stops! 🍻

Exploring a new city can be thirsty work, so we’ve made sure our route includes some great pubs and cafes. Whether you’re into craft beer or coffee, you’ll find plenty of spots to take a break and soak in the atmosphere of Brighton. Pirate fancy dress is optional ☠️

“You can stop at any point & have a walk around where you are and the just return to the tour & pick up where you left off. We did the tour in 40mph winds & rain & still enjoyed up...I bet it’s even better on a sunny day”
